Paul H. Boge

Paul is an author, speaker, filmmaker and professional engineer. He serves as a capital project manager with Boge & Boge Consulting Engineers and works in the industrial sector. Paul has written 6 books including four biographies – Father to the Fatherless: The Charles Mulli Story, Hope for the Hopeless: The Charles Mulli Mission, The Urban Saint: The Harry Lehotsky Story, The Biggest Family In The World, and two novels The Chicago Healer and The Cities of Fortune. Paul has also written, directed and produced two films – Among Thieves (feature) and Espresso Junction (short). Paul attended Maple Leaf School, Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute, (MBCI), Hinterholz Capernwray in Switzerland, the University of Manitoba, and completed the screenwriting program at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Passionate about Africa and causes for the poor both at home and abroad, Paul is privileged to serve on various charities that exemplify the love of Christ. He has been actively involved in Mully Children’s Family – a ministry that rescues street children from the slums of Kenya, as well as Hannah Family Support Society, Square One World Media, World Gospel Explosion and also Union Gospel Mission in Winnipeg. Paul is currently working on a true story of a rescued girl from Mully Children’s Family in Kenya and he is also writing a true story of human trafficking in Kenya.  He loves the Lord and is actively involved in various organizations including the annual Winnipeg Real to Reel Film Festival based out of his home church of North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren. Paul also loves to preach, play guitar in a rock and roll band called the Highway, exercise, cheer on the Winnipeg Jets, and to spend time with his nieces and nephews – especially hunting for buried treasure on Lake Winnipeg.

2009 – Paul elected as vice-Chair of Family Life Network board

2010 – Among Thieves distribution deal signed

2011 – Coordinated the inaugural Winnipeg Real to Reel Film Fesival

2011 – Elected as Chair of the Mully Children’s Family Charitable Foundation in Canada.

2012 – Presented the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Award for humanitarian service by Member of Parliament Joy Smith.
